As the Knowledge and Development Lawyer in the International Dispute Resolution team in London, Louise plays a key role keeping her colleagues at the forefront of legal developments, trends and case law for the benefit of clients. She keeps abreast of developments in case law and procedure covering litigation and international arbitration, advising colleagues and clients on their practical implications through briefings, seminars and tailored training.
Louise is a member of Bird & Bird's Brexit group, advising members of the team and clients on the cross-border implications of Brexit in a disputes context. She manages the content of the 'Disputes+' portal: a curated collection of know-how from Bird & Bird's international disputes practices and sectors which includes content from various areas including commercial litigation, intellectual property, fraud, and arbitration practices.
Before joining Bird & Bird, Louise was a national module leader for civil litigation on the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School, she also led the media and entertainment law module and lectured on arbitration.
